Biography
Aref Tabaraei was a 24-year-old law student who was shot and killed by government agents in the Haft-e Tir neighborhood of Mashhad on January 8, 2026. He died after being shot in the side and was subsequently buried in Sabzevar. Despite attempts by the authorities to label him a Basij member, he is remembered as a patriot of the protest movement.
عارف تبرائی دانشجوی ۲۴ ساله وکالت بود که در ۱۸ دیماه ۱۴۰۴ در منطقه هفت تیر مشهد با شلیک مستقیم ماموران جمهوری اسلامی به پهلویش جان باخت. پیکر او در سبزوار به خاک سپرده شد. با وجود تلاشهای حکومت برای معرفی او به عنوان بسیجی یا شهید دولتی، وی به عنوان یک جوان میهنپرست و جاویدنام در یادها مانده است.
